How to test auto sync to Google Calendar

Preparation

Step 1) Go to Class Buddy main screen

Step 2) Go to "MENU > Settings > Google Calendar sync"

Step 3) First, just leave the "target calendar" as it is.
If you don't want to publish to currently selected calendar, you can switch to others after you confirm Calendar sync works OK.

Step 4) Select only one event type, "quiz".

Step 5) Turn-off the "Enable auto-sync" button

Step 6) Press "Admin.tools" button and select "Remove all sync record" and run it.
This will clear whole sync environment including all the published events.
After the run is completed, you will see how many records are removed in Google Calendar side.

Now we are ready to start testing.

Step 7) Turn-on the "Enable auto-sync" button
Since we limit the sync only for quiz type, only the changes in quiz event will go to Google Calendar.

Step 8) Find any quiz and change the description.
Any quiz is OK. just pick one and change and save it.

THIS IS IMPORTANT!,
Turning on "Enable auto-sync" will not automatically publish all the previously created quiz events. It just tell the Class Buddy "from now on all the change will go".

Step 9) Go to Google Calendar and check if the quiz is really published.

Step 10) Go to "Class Buddy Main > MENU > Settings > Google Calendar sync" again.
At this time, we want to test Repair tool

Step 11) Press Admin. tools and Select "Repair sync"
This will publish all the quizzes in Class Buddy to Google Calendar.

Step 12) Run the "Repair sync"'.
After the run is completed, you will see how many records are created in Google Calendar side.

Step 13) Go to Google Calendar and check if the quizzes are published.
